Marcia, North Central Minnesota

In 2022, Marcia gardened with the kids she cares for, and the kids got to help care for, harvest, and eat the produce. She is hoping to expand next year - she is planning to install three additional raised beds!

Marcia and the kids she cared for even tried their hand at seed saving - peas and beans. The garden effort became a family affair, with Marcia’s teenage daughter helping mentor the kids in the garden. What a great adventure!
